Digitally remastered two CD set containing a trio of albums by the Jazz trumpeter, his first three for Creed Taylor's CTI label: RED CLAY (1970), STRAIGHT LIFE and FIRST LIGHT (both 1971). The albums feature George Benson, Herbie Hancock, Jack DeJohnette and Ron Carter amongst others. These recordings were critically acclaimed and rejuvenated Hubbard's career.
