Excellent as always
For the price, this is an absolutely fantastic stereo. Could not be happier. What's a 110 signal-to-noise ratio and 0.001 THD total harmonic distortion that is almost perfect sound quality. The 13 band graphic equalizer allowed me to find tune certain Speaker sizes as well as set crossover parameters to protect my mids and highs. Love the variable color illumination and the menu options are very easy to deal with once you figure out how the knob works. I enjoy the fact that it has three 5 volt pre outs for amplifiers to ensure excellent signal transfer. If you have patience and are looking for sound quality above and beyond what you can buy at your local Walmart this stereo is definitely for you. It's not extremely user-friendly so be patient with it take the time to learn how the system works. But overall for the money you're not going to get a better sounding stereo that's just all there is to it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

They sent me this model instead of the advertised KDC-X399. Normally you would think that a lower model # is an older model. I was told that they sent me this model as they were out of the advertised model. Checking with Kenwood revealed that sometimes they revert back to a lower model # for the latest model.
