useful for safely cutting bagels
The Joie bagel slicing jig holds a bagel to allow you to safely slice. It works well on a range of sizes though small or thin bagels are less easy to hold securely. A good safety product

Too small to fit most (all?) bagels
I've never seen or purchased a bagel small enough to be used in your bagel slicer. Therefore, it is not a good value when I can't even use it. It seemed cheaply made to me - plastic.

not completely satisfactory
Product is not completely adequate for slicing bagels. I have found that many bagels are too thick to fit into the device which causes cutting to be difficult.
