      YES you CAN use in Spellbinder Platinum Machines.

      This is for the regular BigShot, Big Kick etc. machines not the PLUS SIZE. However yes it would work in the larger machines too. I swap around my platforms and shim and adapter plates and cutting pads between the name brands. Mainly Sizzix and Spellbinder. Bought this for use in my Spellbinder Platinum 6 machine and also on occasion the Platinum 8.5. Must have a classic mid range 6" wide opening to use with cutting machines that use an approx. 1/2 inch thick platforms. Also you may need adapter plates and or shims and depends on what you are cutting. I use with regular cutting acrylic pads but occasionally with a chrome precision cutting pad too by Sizzix. Yes in both my BigShot, P6 and P8.5 machines. Can not use in my Empress or other machines at this time. Should work in a Stampin Up 6 ...

      Makes cutting with your wafer-thin dies fast and easy!

      This is the second one of these I have had and it seems like they have really improved the magnetic quality of the platform. The first one I had did not seem to hold the dies solidly and the magnets seemed to shift my dies so much that I had to tape them down anyway, which kind of defeats the purpose of the magnet. This new one holds the dies tightly, does not shift them around while positioning and cuts like a dream.

      So much easier now

      I recently started using a Sizzix machine to die cut shapes for cards. At first, I tried to use my framelits without the magnetic platform, and they would always shift around when making the "sandwich" with the acrylic pads, etc. It was frustrating, so I purchased the Magnetic Platform and it has made the process so much easier! I highly recommend getting one!

      Sizzix magnetic platform

      I don't know how I ever managed to use my thinklits without this platform! It's so much easier now that I don't have to chase them around now. My only regret is that I didn't get the longer size. I'll most likely be back for that one too!

      Sizzix Magnetic Platform

      It really does help keep the wafer thin dies in place. The only problem may be that the standard size is a bit small for some card dies. Otherwise, it is a great investment.
