    I bought this to replace the original steering shaft lower bearing assembly in my '72 Ford F100. Unfortunately the original was so old that it was severely rusted and fused to the steering column. I couldn't snatch it out with a puller. I ended up using a Dremel to cut it out. That made for some difficulty in getting this new bearing installed. However. persistence pays off, and with lot of sanding I was able to reduce the aluminum billet race portion enough so that it went in easily.
