    As good as the originals, and with better instructions

    This was a replacement for the remote that I originally received from DirecTV, because I'd accidentally submerged the original in water. With this order, I received TWO remotes for less than what I would've paid for one if I had purchased it from DirecTv. The product arrived on time, nicely packaged, and even included batteries. The instructions for setting it to work with my TV were easy to understand and worked on my first try. They even included little stickers for the back of the remote to identify which room/TV the remote controls. I highly recommend!

    Good remote for a good price

    Purchased two remotes for use with Directv system on a Panasonic and a Samsung set. Most Genie people say this will not work; but many web sites tell us it will work with these combinations; and they indeed work. Not only that, but programming is quick and simple and they work great! Just make sure you change unit to IR before you start.

    Just like my original Direct TV remote

    This remote is identical to the OEM remote I got when I installed Direct TV. The remote came sealed in a bag and had cling film over the buttons. It came with batteries, which were also sealed. The remote works fine on the Genie with no programming. It was easy to program the remote to control functions on my TV.
