    An instant improvement in performance and storage space

    The debate is whether or not to spend money to repair a Tivo as opposed to spending 3x or 5x the money for a new or newer Tivo. The hard drive replacement and defacto hard drive size increase was the best value proposition. The larger drive increased Tivo speed and the recording hours size in HD is enormous. The installation worked right out of the box w/o any issues. You will lose any recordings on the old drive especially if your drive completely dies as was in our case.

    TiVo TCD746320 Premiere 4 DVR LIFETIME 2-Tuner Dual

    We had an older TiVo, I believe a TiVo 2 that had limited storage and could only record one program at a time. If I had known how much better the picture quality would be, I would have bought one of these sooner. very pleased with the newer TiVo model.

    Replacement Remote - New

    It was great to find a remote to replace our old ones. The keys work well and the unit is compatible with our older TV. Great value and great product. At this great price we replaced both of them.
