Extech 382275 - Nice supply, can be painful to repair.
On the unit itself, it's compact, and lightweight, for something that can deliver 600W.
I don't like the "push to change the resolution" idea on the control knobs, or the hard-to-see changes in brightness in the 7-segment readout displays. I do like that you can see the current limit without shorting the outputs.
On the "For parts/repair", the unit did arrive broken, as expected. Turned out to be a shorted rectifier on the output, which in turn reflected a short to the main switching FETs and took them out too. These are remarkably hard to remove; the design of the main PCB does not consider "repair". But I replaced the FETs and the rectifier, and all is well - so far. The rectifiers operate at their limit, and I see there is space on the PCB for more parallel rectifiers. I may add some if the unit fails again.
