Excellent solder for stainless steel
I used this product along with "stay-silv" flux paste to join thin stainless steel fuel lines together. It flows excellent and leaves a very clean finish. The fuel lines had no leaks when tested at 100 psi and the brazed joints are extremely strong. It is much easier to work with than some of the others silver solders/brazes I have used in the past and well worth the money if you need a high quality braze/solder for stainless steel. Great flow and much easier to use than 45% SS with MAPP gas.

Used this with Harris Stay Silv flux and an oxy-propane jewelers Little Torch to repair broken horizontal metal cutting band saw blades. I beveled the broken blade edges for better contact area and the silver braze worked very well very strong product. The highest strength you can get in a low melting point brazing alloy, usable with any oxy-fuel torch. Don't necessarily need oxy-acetylene. Oxy-MAPP and even oxy-propane work fine on most jobs. Flows very well with a typical white paste silver brazing flux.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
