    Short wave UV light at awesome price!

    This is a decent less expensive alternative to a high end short wave UV light for illuminating fluorescent materials. Uses other than it's intended purpose are geology and neon glass tube color detection. I highly recommend this product.

    Sort of worked For about a week then both of them died

    As with everybody being excessively concerned with germs I purchased these because they seem nice ultra portable and they were as seen on TV well they didn't even make it past one set of batteries before I had issues

    Great Value - Powerful and Cheap

    I bought the sanitizing light to treat a fungal skin rash (hot tub rash). The manufacturer states repeatedly that it is not to be used on skin, but I believe that they do this to protect themselves from lawsuits related to consumer misuse. At the same time, google says that UVc light is used to treat fungus infections on the toes. I used it for the preset time on the timer and got a mild sunburn. The light is powerful. I would not use it for more than 5 seconds per area on the skin. It did kill the fungus and I consider it to be a successful home treatment. The preceding is my own personal experience. I am not a medical professional and am not attempting to prescribe treatment for medical conditions.

    some quirks, but works well over all

    there are a few quirks in this light, but overall I like it. I can dis infect a lot of surfaces. you do have to reset it before use, the best you can, turning the power switch on / off. wait until it beeps before recycling it. it works well for small to medium surfaces.

    Where liquids can't go.

    I think does what it claims. Aside from seeing videos on-line testing it, I noticed when using it the light bothers my eyes, and that includes indirect light from this source. It has the 10 second beep which is helpful. It would take 20 seconds if it is 2 inches away, and shorter if it is closer. Not bad for four AAA batteries. It is great for cell phones and any other electronic device, or any place you can't use liquid on. You sanitize the surface, but not any shadows created by the position in which you hold it.
