Do The Job Fast And Clean
This is a great little knife, if your a deer hunter, you know what can happen if you make a mistake when gutting your deer, it not the best experience ! But with the gut hook on the OUTDOOD EDGE, just a small cut, and the gut hook will keep you from making that BIG mistake. A must have in my backpack
This outfit is compact and ready to go. Comes with 6 replacement blades in a nylon sheath. The fold out zipper works great on deer and hog. A hogs course hair and tough hide tend to put a whooping on a knife but this has held up pretty well. I usually take the blades that have started loosing their edge and hit em on a ceramic rod and get some more use out of them before chunking. Buy extra blades
Great concept and well constructed knife but dulls fairly easily. Went through the last 2 blades dressing and skinning my elk last fall, had to finish with my pocket knife. That being said, if you're out of blades and have a good stone or diamond, with a few passes it's back to a razor edge. Very sharp
Awesome knife, the only complaint is the closeness of the two blades. You have to close one blade before using other. Great potential for a brother to cut himself bad and quickly!!!!! On a cold skinning evening I found it becoming a "dammit" blade, but other wise it's a spectacular knife. Both blades are extremely sharp and I processed 2-deer before having to change the surgical blade out on the straight knife. That thing don't play, I have a couple of fly-by cuts to my own fingers from that critter, but worth the band aids........ It'll be a self correcting problem real soon!!!!!
