The 25 cartridge loops are leather and double stiched, 30-30 cartridges fit nice n snug. The belt size section is leather with a felt like material stiched to it. Very comfortable. Pouches are made of the same type leather/felt combo and are double stiched. Their bottom corners have open slits so small items may slip through. Looks like you could fit a 20 round box of 223 in each pouch.
