    The Stihl MS 170 is a great little saw light enough to handle and powerful enough for large jobs.

    The saw was packed well when it arrived and was in a condition I would expect for a previously owned and used saw. I have an MS 170 that needed a new carburator unfortunately the plastic yoke that holds the on/off & choke lever broke during disassembly hence my purchase of this saw. I now have a working MS 170 and one for parts which is mainly why I bought this one. I loved my old MS 170 for numerous reasons one being weight and the power it has for a little saw. I'm also not a fan of the new saw's with thier inteli carburators making the saw more complicated and less reliable and servicable. The MS 170 I purchased came in good condition and fired right up after filling it with purchased gas/oil mix to avoid ethenol from the gas pump and having to mix oil.
