A heavyweight in detective shows.
Mannix is a very likable guy. He is a very good detective with connections with the police so that helps a lot. His secretary Peggy is very efficient and a deep caring woman who is a policeman widow who also has connections with the police department and that helps also. She also has a young son so the show is family oriented. It is a dated show with hippies, fast muscle cars and mod clothes . I enjoy this show tremendously and highly recommend it! Wes H.

A very well written and produced TV series.
One of my all time favorite television shows. Starring Mike Connors as the tough yet empathetic private eye Joe Mannix. The shows co-star is Gail Fisher as the smart, dedicated and pretty secretary Peggy Fair.
