      Absolutely Good Solid Video Instruction

      This/these, as I bought both DVDs, are among the best instructional video courses I’ve ever used. The videos are the ideal length for learning a technique; not too long and not too short. The video focuses on the hands and the techniques necessary to play well. The player’s hands and instrument are never outside the video frame, as is often the case with music instruction on DVD. The narrative is easy to understand and is NOT filled with needless uhms, ahs, and such. I’m very pleased with my progress and how each lesson builds solid skills. Yes, you need to practice, and this series even focuses on how to do that. I recommend these videos highly.

      Instructions are very detailed, and clear. On a personal note, the learning curve is much larger than I had anticipated for this instrument. But for anyone who is more musically inclined than myself, it would be no problem.

      I found this DVD very informative and a great learning tool for the C6 Lap Steel. It takes you from the basics to learning how to play songs. I had to order the second DVD to continue my quest to learning to play the Lap Steel. Highly recommended...

      The reason I gave this tape a 3 is because it's a little hard to follow and you can't see the finger placement on the strings very good. The written info available is good and a must to print out.
