    Excellent Product - I use it for making Apple products work on PCs that support Thunderbolt

    I purposely bought this to bring back to life an Apple 27" Monitor that only has the Thunderbolt connector on it. I got sick of the Mac Mini so the monitor as lovely as it is has sat dormant. With this device and my Lenovo T470, I can now get this monitor to work in the PC world and give it a new lease of life. This is all thanks to this cable. I put down it is good value - reality is its a lot of money to pay for an adaptor but so is a new monitor again so I this is why I have marked at down as good value. the quality is excellent also.

    Invigorates legacy equipment.

    I’ve used this item to daisy chain older, thunderbolt items. To be truthful, I also control a FireWire tape deck by connecting the FW400 to a FW800 adapter, into a FW800 to thunderbolt adapter, and into the thunderbolt to USB-C adapter. It all works perfectly, although I don’t have deck control.

    Does what it should.

    Allows me to connect my firewire 400 mixing desk to my new MacBook Pro. I go firewire 400 > 800 > thunderbolt 2 > thunderbolt 3. Works a treat, believe it or not. Was pleasantly surprised, considering the negative reviews. It's limited to 10w of power, which I think it's the crunch, but if your device is powered by it's own brick it *should* work (though I have yet to test it with any other devices).
