I’d buy it again
Appears solid and well constructed. I’m no expert and I’ve never assembled a firearm (yet) however this is probably the best bet for someone like me who wants quality in a small footprint without breaking the bank. Seemingly every vise I researched under 100 had way too many reviews citing poor quality or they just didn’t have many/any reviews at all. The newer generation Tipton model has been well received and I chose the one with the attached legs for the added convenience. I don’t have a garage or dedicated counter space so this version works well. (we full time in a 5th wheel) Is there plastic where you wish there was metal? Yes however you’re probably looking much more $$ if this wasn’t the case. For my purposes (amateur gunsmithing, cleaning, scope mounting) I expect it to last many years. If you’re a pro I’d wager you already have something better already for your shop. Great value under 2 bills.
