    Looks complex; but, actually simplifies everything!

    I love this XRT500. At first glance, it appears complicated and busy. However, most functions have a single key that greatly reduces wandering through on on-screen interface. For instance, with the TV off, simply pushing "Netflix" button will turn on the TV and it will immediately be at my netflix search page, signed in, ready to start. The same is true with "Amazon" key. The asdf keyboard on the back of the remote make entering alpha/numeric very quick and effortless--no need to bounce around the screen entering letters and numbers any longer. The keyboard also lights up once a button is pushed, making typing very easy as well. I bought this remote to replace the OEM remote that came with my Vizio 50" 4k P-series.     Not soo easy.

    The buttons on the front side of the remote control doesn't light up but the keys on the back side do. When the remote is sat face-up the buttons on the back side are pressed unintentionally when the remote is touched. There should be some legs of some type to prevent the buttons on the back side from touching any surface when sat face up. The remote control operates everything on the TV good with very good distance and accuracy.

    Remote Upgrade for M551D HDTV

    The original remote for the Vizio M-Series monitors were very finicky, requiring that they be pointed directly at the lower left corner of the monitor to control it. They also didn’t have a keyboard for accessing the monitor’s web or advanced features. This replacement remote offers improved IR performance, and QWERTY keyboard. Fantastic value, makes these great M-Series monitors even better!

    This remote is well designed.

    It appears that most Vizio TVs as of late (talk to Vizio) are compatible. This remote didn't have exactly what I was looking. Front back lit buttons. But did everything else I wanted. Play, pause, FF & RW with single button activation for streaming. It is the right size and the buttons are placed so they are easy to use. Most of my objectives were accomplished well and didn't have to spend an arm and a leg to get them.
