    Surprisingly good little trimmer caps!

    I was initially suspicious of these caps because they are priced far below the common 'white ceramic' ones I've used for years. But because they were drop-in replacements for those, I got a supply for breadboarding RF circuits. These are very good caps. Even in applications where they are adjusted constantly, they retain their mechanical stability and strength, and apparently hold the adjusted value indefinitely. One caution, however. Some similar-looking ones I got from another supplier had one terminal of an alloy that was near-impossible to solder. Keep in mind that these probably come from a number of manufacturers, but the ones from this seller are superb.

    The capacitors work as expected. They are trimming caps that allow precise filtering and adjustment of RC circuits. And they arrived ahead of schedule.
