    Excellent Spare

    The unit arrived fast. Packaging was excellent. Charged up nice in the battery cradle and powered up the D7100 nice. No complaints for a spare in the field. Haven't tested durability with different styles of photography yet however I will compare the two and get back with ya. Just got it today. Have to go play hookie now so, shhhh..... don't tell the boss.

    works but holds charge for less than a day's use

    Fits the Nikon, charges, works, but fades rapidly. First few charges I could get a day's use. Then fell to less than a day. Total exposures from a charge now down to an average of less than 200. It is inexpensive.

    Great price and works as expected

    I bought two of these for my Nikon D7100 and they both work very well. When I'm not reviewing all my pictures and deleting them and messing with settings in the menu on my camera I can get around 900+ shots with one battery. Average use I get anywhere from 700-800 easily. Great buy for the price, very happy with the purchase.

    Exellent Battery!

    They shipped a vivitar battery with 2500mAh. I am a professional Real estate Photographer with a Nkon D800. This battery is much better than the orginal Nikon battery which had only 1900mAh. The same time period that the Nikon would give out, this vivitar still has 40-50% charge left. No joke. Highly recommend!

    Well constructed however it fitted too tightly in the camera.

    I added a small easy contraption to help remove the battery from the camera compartment. Mine may have been the only one with the problem of tight fitting making it impossible to remove in a short time if needed. It holds more running time time than the original battery which is great..
