The cooler was basically brand new, with the tags on it, and came with the shoulder strap, zipper lubricant, and paperwork; I guess I got lucky so it could be hit or miss with quality. My YETI Hopper 12 cooler was packaged well, shipped quickly - and at a VERY reasonable shipping cost- and appeared to be brand new, except for some VERY faint, superficial marks on top. Only hiccup was I hadn’t realized someone had to sign for it, otherwise I’d had it sent to a different address. For the great deal I got, though, that was a minor convenience still totally worth it! The cooler was described as used with possible scratches or scuffs, but I couldn't find any. It looks like new! It even came with the clear basket. Shipping was super fast, and it even came in the original Yeti box. So maybe the few flaws were caused by UPS? Although seller stated it may have some, it was not sold as new. BUT, I was not happy that seller ships with a signature requirement. AND UPS does not accept a signed note on the door. Even though I live in a neighborhood where so far I have never had a problem with package thieves yet.
