    Stunning !!!

    I can't believe I almost didn't watch this movie. I thought there's no way Disney could remake Cinderella and make it great but I was so wrong ! I am in love with this movie. The casting was perfection. Lilly James as Cinderella and Richard Madden as Kit (prince) all I can say is WOW ! They did such a great job at making you love them. I love how Disney portrayed them both. My husband didn't want to watch it but it was my night to pick a movie. After it was over he said " That was actually a really good movie" lol This is now one of my favorites and I'm giving this as gifts to my Mom and grandmother ( along with Maleficent- another great movie ). Now I can't wait for the Beauty and the Beast remake !!!

    Cinderella mush!

    It was just okay, it was watered down Cinderella with no cinders. Was weird that she could go off riding on a $30000 horse! Cinderella wasn't oppressed enough to make you feel sorry for her, she was greatly inconvenienced. The animated Disney is much much better. I gave it to friends grand daughters age 5, I am sure they will be delighted.

    CinderWho? It's Fairy Godmother All The Way

    I grew up with images of Disney's first CINDERLLA for most of my life. When I heard of a re-make, I thought,"Oh no nonot another one." But my favorite actress of ALL time was the fairy godmother. I'm soooo glad I got this movie. Helena Bonham Carter (Did I mention she's my favorite actress of ALL time?) was incredible, best fairy god-mother ever. The entire movie changes flavor after her appearance. But then anything that HBC does is excellent from THE WINGS OF A DOVE to NOVACINE. Excellent movie, great entertainment for the entire family.

    The best version of Cinderrella I've ever seen

    Saying it is a Kenneth Branaugh film should tell you it would be excellent. The colors are beautiful, the music lovely, the acting of all superb. It is uplifting, romantic, and the dancing just right. The animals turning to people to take care of the pumpkin coach are delightful and the coach indescribably gorgeous. I don't think there's a better Cinderella anywhere.
