    2 out of 3 isn't bad

    This is an adorable little toy. The cats bat it around and it stays lit for a while and then it goes off. I have 3 cats and two of them absolutely loved it. I don't know if this matters or not, but the one cat who played the most with the ball is also the one who likes laser lights. The other cat won't follow a laser light, but loved the ball and my third cat could care less about any kind of light or ball but loves his flying feather wand! So I give up -- I think the bottom line is -- humanly it's great, but it really all depends on the cat.
