    Pleasantly surprised upon arrival.

    Good price, reasonable shipping time, and secured well to pallet. Engine was very clean for a Subaru engine, and was pretty much complete. I will have to change a few things to fit my car, but nothing major. Only issue I had was possibly with the removal from the donor car. There were 3 plastic parts/covers that were cracked or broken. Not a big deal, I'll just have to swap them off my old motor.

    need to return this... will not fit

    this was beat-up pretty bad in shipping. Timing cover broken oil pan dented in. This also does not work for this application. intake and block are completely different. cannot switch intake over because of egr. Different wiring harness and computer for this engine. electronic throttle compared to mechanical throttle.

    More info would have been helpful. JDM motors are not a simple swap iut

    This motor was not the same year model as the one I requested. Had to change out the intake, valve covers, wiring harness, and oil pan. The oil pan bolt holes were different. Had to drill and tap 2 hole for the oil pan, and had to tape the holes for the oil pick up tube. All of this would have been fine if I was aware that , that was going to have to happen. Probably would not have purchased this motor, but would have chosen to find an easier motor swap. I did get it done, and it does run so far. Hopefully it will be fine.

    fits good parts fit good I have not had it running yet. The timing belt cover had a hole punched it it in the middle and one end was broken.
