    I anticipate it would be a decent reference book.

    The book is full of useful information, however it is difficult to use it as a textbook for class. I purchased it because I would like to keep it as a reference book for my engineering career. If you are considering purchasing the international version of this book for a class, I recommend that you DO NOT. I heard from classmates that not only is the international book in SI units but it is also missing some charts and equations that we used.

    I've been using Shigley's book for years. it is a master for machine elements design. it is the top.

    Speedy delivery!

    This book was used for my engineering class: Machine Design. It contained a lot of valuable information about solving complex advance strength of materials problems. It is a very good book to add to any engineering student's library.
