Needed a quiet graphics card for my brother n' law's Dell Optiplex 7010 so he wouldn't be struggling to watch 720p and higher resolution YouTube videos and this EVGA GT 1030 02G-P4-6332-KR (passive heatsink GDDR5 version) does it perfectly while averaging temps around mid 50C to low 60C's watching 4K YouTube videos. Just running this 7010 with it's Intel i7-3770 and no graphics card felt like the whole system was running kinda sluggish. But after installing the card and it's graphics driver, this Dell machine runs as nature intended, fast and smooth. Plus I know my brother n' law never keeps up with maintenance on his computer and leaves it running 24/7 so I knew it was best to get him a GPU that has a passive heatsink on it so there is no worry about a fan that would soon fail. Plus him not being a gamer made total sense. Also nice to see that this low power card doesn't require supplemental PCIe power connectors as it simply runs on power coming directly from the motherboard's PCIe slot itself (75 watt max). Overall this card is a great, dependable, power efficient and silent GPU. Very happy with this purchase!Read full review

Very nice. Bought it for my little brother. Runs surprisingly well even though it has no fan; my little brother is very pleased. If you want to see the benchmarks, you may look them up on the internet, but what is worth saying is that this card runs pretty much all the newest games... just not with maximum settings. You will probably have to play on medium, especially if 1080p is what you are shooting for. That said, however, this is a very good budget option, and if your PC has an older or weaker processor in it, then getting anything more powerful than this might not make a large difference in most of your gaming anyway. If you want to play the newest games, but you are fine with playing them on console quality graphics, then this is probably the card for you.

I added the GeForce GT 1030 video card to an older Lenovo computer. I have noticed smoother video streaming at a high picture quality than before. The card is silent and does not heat up the computer case. Great performance at a low price!

For a silent, low budget card, this card does well for light gaming. Way better than the old card I had that was released in 2012. Youtube has a lot of reviews on this card, showing what it can and can’t do.

my win 10 screen kept going black whenever it did an automatic update. Usually I could just roll back the video driver in Safe Mode, but this last time - no such luck. This time I had to buy/install a graphics card to replace my built in graphics of my processor and it cured the problem - hopefully for good.

Purchased a MSI GT 710, was not pleased with performance. My slot only goes up to 35 watts, the EVGA GT 1030 is 30 watts. Would like to have gone a little better, but was really surprised at the difference. I don't game at all, just wanted better video out of a HP 8300 SFF computer. This satisfied my needs for 1080p Video. If you want 1080p and don't Game ( STOP RIGHT HERE ) and BUY.

For the price, the GeForce GT 1030 cannot be beat. Just make sure you get the DDR5 version and not the crippled DDR4 one.
