I have installed the software including update twice and I still get a camera malfunction message. I would be more comfortable if the driver(s) were standalone software rather than being imbedded in a gaming suite, as it is the interface is rather opaque and I was not able to find decent troubleshooting advice. It may be an early production model and I have read there were teething problems. My experience should in no way reflect badly on the seller. The product itself looks great, I have actually designed a digital camera and its professional, functional aesthetic is very much to my taste; I may try to install it on another computer. I got this mostly for its ability to provide a high quality true to color image without studio lighting. It has done a great job of that even very low and poor light conditions. I will say it would have been nice to have a mini tripod or something to make mount easier in more situations. A book end is working pretty well for now.

The camera image was freezing every 20 seconds or so at random in OBS, even after installing Razer Synapse and updating the firmware. After an hour of searching for a solution online I found a guy who used OBS to change the camera settings manually to 60fps, MJPEG, etc which finally solved my issue. A lot of people seem to have issues getting this camera to work right out of the box with various apps. If you're computer savvy and don't mind solving issues then this camera puts out an excellent 60fps widescreen image in all lighting environments but if you're looking for a simple solution look elsewhere.
