The good outweighs the not so good.
I have tried Salon Pas and now Ice Hot and have to say that the Icy Hot patch is easier to apply, provides significant relief from pain in that area but two things have to go to the not so good side. 1. They take hair off when removed and even produce a skin rash or bruise. And they leave a little residue from the sticky part.

Only 5 pads in a big deceptive box at a cost of $2+. Very mildly effective for a short time. Use a more powerful cream instead, something like Bengay for which you shouldn't pay more than $7 with free shipping.
