The Gulf War is the setting for this squad-based shooter, which has players guiding a four-man team of Special Forces soldiers through a variety of missions and battles. Tactical elements include positioning troops in key locations and using stealth to avoid detection in heavily guarded compounds. Weapons run the gamut from the silent swish of a knife to the steady rattle of a heavy machine gun, and players will be able to call upon Allied Forces to launch cruise missiles or fire artillery at requested targets. Conflict: Desert Storm also allows players to commandeer jeeps and helicopters at various points during the campaign.

Desert Storm, the new revolution!!!!
Finally, a war game from our own time! Conflict: Desert Storm brings the war game into our recent history. World War II games are great! But it's about time that we had a game from a time most of the video gamers remember! The game play is awesome! You can play as any of your four man team. You can direst the other members of your team cover your a** so you can complete the mission. My personal favorite is Foley. Being able to snipe the enemy from a long way off. Watching the rest of the enemies scrambling for cover as you slowly and methodically pick off every last one of them. Unlike other shooters, your team member can use all of the weapons available in game play. The maps are decent as well. Not very complex and clearly defined, it is easy to stay on ... Finally, a war game from our own time! Conflict: Desert Storm brings the war game into our recent history. World War II games are great!
