Codemasters' sports-car racing series continues in Grid 2 with a new globetrotting career mode, a host of online features, and the new TrueFeel handling system that is designed to mix the accessibility of arcade action with the realism of simulation. Fictional mogul Patrick Callahan has created the World Racing Series in an attempt to get the best driving clubs from around the world to compete against one another in a variety of events set in locations like Barcelona, Chicago, Indianapolis, Paris, and Abu Dhabi, with the ultimate goal of earning more fans than any other racer.<br><br>Events in Grid 2 include traditional races, drifting contests, head-to-head action in Face-Off mode, high-speed sprints in Time Attack mode, last-one-out races in Eliminator mode, and the arcade-style Overtake mode in which racers earn points and multipliers for passing other vehicles. The game also introduces a new LiveRoutes feature, which tests reaction time by altering the course route in the middle of a race, potentially sending players in six different directions. Online multiplayer remains a key component of Grid 2, with gamers signing in to Codemasters' RaceNet portal to take on weekly challenges and accept rival requests from around the globe, customize their liveries, upgrade their vehicles, and upload highlight videos.<br><br><! -- 360 -- >

    Grid 2

    The graphics are good and the game play is a lot of fun. The driving dynamics are an excellent cross between sim and arcade style racing that's both challenging and exiting to play. High speed, power sliding excitement. One of the best driving games out there. Definitely worth getting. GRID2 is definitely the best of the GRID series and far better than the follow up which was GRID AUTOSPORT.

    Online was great the career was very short and it did not fill like grid 1

    i got this game because i played alot of grid 1. I was very disapointed when this game did not play like grid. It was a good game all things considered. the driving style is much more sliding then the first grid.coming from my background of need for speed i like that, but if you liked grid then its not so good. the online experence was good leveling up was slow over all i liked online i got many hours of fun out of it I would recamend this anyday over the other games like need for speed, and forza

    It's not as good as the first, but it's fairly good nonetheless.

    Codemasters has once again produced a pretty good racing game. The first GRID was admittedly better, but this one is pretty good too. I feel like the removal of the in-car view was a bad choice, and that there should have been way more cards (there might be 50 cars), but the racing was action-packed and fun.
