    owning x trans image quality at a budget price

    Great little camera that is compact and has great image quality. It has the same X Trans sensor as other Fuji models. This is my third time owning this camera, I have an emotional connection to this camera because it delivers. The controls take a little time to get used to, but once you deal with the learning curve it's very easy to navigate. Overall a great entry into the Fuji system.

    Older tech is OK

    I have a few lenses for my XT2 and I didn't want to spend a lot on a compact camera. At the same time, I wanted good image quality. There is no EVF and in bright, outdoor light, very hard to see LCD, so there is that but to be expected. I just cover with my hand or hat. The image quality is really more from the glass your using but the sensor on this is very capable, even if it's kind of old. AF is good enough but I manual focus most of the time anyway. I use the 35 f1.4 or the 18-55 and call it a day. I use it for street, or family gatherings when I want to travel light. The flash is kind of a turd, I mean it works and can get the job done in a pinch but I prefer to use a smaller Nissin i40 and bounce it. ISO is acceptable up to ISO3200. I typically use auto ISO up 1600 with a minimum ...

    Excellent image quality but lacking key features

    I just purchased an XM1 and am a bit disappointed in its functionality and deletion by Fuji of key items. I'm not disappointed in the low price or it's image quality (IQ is outstanding from my first few uses). Of course this is what makes the XM1 affordable. My irks are: Lack of a/e lock button for metering, doesn't seem to have the function of immediate image display when shooting in RAW, no intelligent zoom feature, only one B/W basic filter, no EVF (but I can live without it). The on/off switch on my camera seems to be very stiff and difficult especially when turning off. Also the lcd gets completely blinded in bright sunlight. I have medium or normal size hands and find it difficult to hold on to the XM1 as it feels like a slippery bar of soap. However, the ...

    X-M1

    Compact and easy to use. Other reviewers mentioned that this camera was all plastic so I was expecting something a little flimsy. This camera is lighter and a bit smaller than my X-E3 but feels and looks very high quality. The display is very clear. The grip on this camera is adequate but I bought the Fuji grip for this model and it adds extra support for larger lenses. Buying this 2013 model will provide you with tons of value.

    Mounts ALL My Vintage Lenses with Nice Peak Intensity Focusing

    I bought this camera to try old vintage lenses on a mirrorless camera. The Canon 5D SLR had no appreciable flange distance to accommodate none butl the longest lenses. The camera itself is fantastic to use with super fast and accurate focus, good auto metering, nothing but good tings to say about this purchase.
