Item as described, packed extremely well, timely shipping and good communication just the way you want every transaction to be. The microphone itself is good for the price. It takes about 9 seconds to switch polar patterns. If you are looking for a vintage Neumann then this is notThen this is not the microphone for you. Very good for a home studio.

Ordered due to great price and close USA shipper with high ratings and I was not let down. I haven't installed the product yet but everything seems fine and went well. Good communication, packaging, and quick shipping. I recommend this seller for a nice smooth transaction!!!

Good price and quick shipping but photo in ad is misleading. They sent the one that has a tube taped to the side of it. I don't like it because the tube falls out of the nozzle sometimes. But it's a good product and the price and service was great.

Almost Smahsing Pumpkins- but not quiet.

I have a confession to make- you shouldn't be listening to me when it comes to this effect. I have very limited experience with fuzz pedals in general- just never cared for them that much. That said- this one isn't so "fuzzy"- it's more like an overdrive and a fuzz in one. Most ppl, I included, buy it because we want to sound like The Smashing Pumpkins. So- does it sound like them- well, mostly. It's not really the same pedal they used- they used the older version that's no longer made- this is the new, rereleased version. It has a different component in it because they can't get the same components any longer- I'm not sure which component it is that's different, but I assume it's the op-amp itself. That said- you can get like 99% of their sound using this pedal- which is plenty close ...

  • Perfect Sound, just give yourself time to find it!

Great sounding, great looking pedal that’s surprisingly versatile. Of course I got it because I love the Siamese dream tone, and that’s what I was mostly doing with it for the first few days, but it nails so much more than that. Anything 90s sounds great- if you are familiar with Stars by Hum, it nails it and the rest of their songs. It’s a tad bit quiet if that makes sense, so if you plan on switching this pedal on and off, just play around with the volume knob before hand so your cleans aren’t louder than your dirty sound. It compresses a lot (in a good way) so I found that by just rolling back my guitar volume a little bit, you can make sure that when you kick on the pedal it roars- there’s not much difference in loudness if your guitar’s volume knob is at 4 or if it is at 10. Overall ...

  • Great fuzz pedal

This pedal has that particular tone that you get in a lot of 90’s alternative rock/grunge. Billy Corgan used this “Mellon Collie and the Infinite sadness” album. Op-Amp gives you heavier tones with a really nice midrange boost that works great for doodling scales. Tune your guitar down a bit and dial in the tone right, it also becomes a chugger for all us metal guys. Or leave the axe in standard and find a Hendrix-esque tone. No matter, this pedal can do them all.

  • Not exact duplicate but still awesome!

This isn't identical to the Smashing Pumpkins V4 Muff (I own the V4 and V5 amongst several other muffs and clones)... However, it is very similar. I can't say it's better or worse... it just has a slightly different flavor. For example, playing Cherub Rock, the real V4 shines. However, if you are writing new riffs, it doesn't matter. Each one sounds a bit better for different things and are equally inspiring. I say that if you already have the V4, you need to buy this pedal. The same goes for the other way around. Of you have this new one, you need a V4. The V4 and V5 are so similar, the differences could boil down to component drift... with that said, this clone is actually fashioned after the V5, because it can also remove the tone knob from the circuit via switch. The switch on the V4 ...

  • More

Theres nothing subtle or going on in this pedal. Pretty much square waves your entire guitar signal in a good way but clipping starts right away at the softest of pick attacks. This pedal is the Smashing Pumpkins flavor of muff fuzz. It's not very dynamic and sort of hits like a brick wall. One of those ON or OFF pedals. You go all the way or you don't go with this. IF you want something with a really wide range and more complexity and sensitivity to your touch I would look at the Fuzz War by Death by Audio but it is double the price and it still won't do what the op amp muff does which is very immediate but you are sort of hostage by it. I use both
