I contacted the seller and gave them a chance to make this sale right. The listing did not describe extent of the cosmetic damage in photos or description. Contacted the seller asking for a $30 rebate as that’s what it would cost to send it back, or repolish it. Buyer balked at the $30 price for repacking and shipping. Buyer invited photos which I sent evidence of the sword having a serious amateur grind marks tip to hilt, and heard nothing. I offered a path forward, buyer abandoned discussion.

I'm sorry that you did not look at the pictures in the listing before purchasing this old sword. If you had, you would have seen the minor damage we photographed. I offered you a full refund if you returned the sword. You chose to try to scam me out of $30 instead. Hopefully you can still use the sword to play Kung Fu.
