I've used AT&T models the previous 2 times, and decided to stick with them again, because I like their products overall. I found that the original batteries would last only 1 or 2 years, but the pricey replacement batteries would last far longer (6 or 7 years and counting on the phone set that I am replacing now). My primary reason for this purchase is to add the Call Block feature. I like that navigating the menu system is very similar to my previous AT&T model, so that eliminates a lot of the learning curve. My previous model was silver, and I find the black model to be easier to read the keypad. The display screen is slightly larger, and has a slightly larger font, which is also easier to read. Since the price is so reasonable, I opted for this 4 handset system, even though I had 3 before, and don't have particular spot for a 4th charger where it could be helpful. I find that even though I don't use the 4th charging base, I keep one handset at my recliner at all times (where there isn't a convenient electric outlet to plug in a charger), so the redundant handset is always on the charger and ready to swap on a moment's notice, whenever needed at my recliner. I rate this model 4 stars instead of 5 because of the industry trends. There don't seem to be any premium model landline phones, despite millions of premium VOIP phones being manufactured. The same assembly lines could easily produce some premium landline phones, regardless of diminishing demand. I would gladly pay more to get a high-resolution color screen with gorilla glass, instead of a monochrome very-low-resolution screen with plastic over it. In this age of amazing quality Siri and Alexa, the Caller ID voice on landline phones sounds like 1980's technology, and has extremely limited ability to translate words correctly. The caller name 'United Healthcare' sounds like "Un-chill-car". Good grief!Read full review

bought for an older person so I set it up. the directions were a little confusing at first but then it gets better. The older person got the basics right away and we will include the other features one at a time. overall I think I might get one of these myself. Only negative is that a robocall reminder from the doctor's office might not get through if it is a different number from the doctor's general number.

The phone system is quite good for the price. It's easy to set up, and the voice is clear while listening to someone. The only issue I had with this is that one of the handsets had a defective base. I'm still waiting after several weeks for AT&T to send me a replaceent handset. I'm hoping they'll send a new handset for free as I purchased a supposedly entire new operational 4 handset system.

I had a similar hand set from AT&T and decided it was time for a new model. Ordered this with 4 handsets (had 3 previously) and it does the job nicely

Purchased this phone system because of the call block feature. WORKS GREAT! It has really cut down on unwanted calls. Couldn't be happier.
