Good scope for the price. The scope mounts are so high it could of made a great see through scope mount but the scope mount screws are in the way of the open sights. Lense clearity and easy 3-7power zoom are good. Th field of view is good for a .22. If the see through scope mounts could of been used, I would of given it a 5 star rating.

Not clear focus. Needed to take the top lens cap off and adjust the lens depth to get it to focus clearly. It was very time consuming and a pain in the ass. I needed to make a tool that would work as a driver to fit the adjustment slots and work with very tiny movements until the focus became sharp. The eye relief would make it clear but then it would become blurry.

Needed a new scope for an old Marlin .22lr, hard to find an optic with a 3/4'' tube for the older style mount on it. This optic worked perfectly, a little difficult to remove the mount it came with without scratching the tube but I got it done. It works great and certainly beats the very outdated optic the Marlin came with. A+, the only complaint is that the mount it came with was quite difficult to remove at first.

I remember tasco scopes from when I was a kid and it seems like they were much greater quality, but then again they were about the same price 50 years ago. The objective is slightly cloudy and will not adjust to a clear image. It could be my glasses I guess. I'll gift it to my grandson and he will enjoy it. Sorry, I really wanted to like this scope.

Mounted securely to the 11mm dovetails. My answer to "Is it clear" was "no", let me clarify. When in the shade or with the front of the scope facing away from the sun, the sight picture is perfect, but with the front facing the sun, it's useless. Even though the front lens is somewhat recessed, design could benefit with at least some kind of sun-shade for the lens. I have only put about 25 or so 16 & 18 grain pellets through my heavily modded 2240 carbine, and scope has held it's zero despite the adjusting turrets feeling too easy to turn. More usage will tell if this is unfounded. Love the option of this scope being a 3X7. For what it is, $14.95 was a beautiful price, I would of even been ok with a $25 price tag.
