A wasted of time!!!
The hard drive that I purchased for my PS3 didn't even work. When I got the package in the mail I should have known that it was going to work because the how it was packaged. Thank God I didn't waste a whole lot of money on this hard drive. My recommendation is just to purchase a new hard drive from a game store that sells parts for game systems that way I could see if it actually works before I waste my money...The hard drive that I purchased for my PS3 didn't even work. $$$$$$......Not the best in newer systems, but works to carry around files.
Hard drive is smaller than present standard but it works if you are to use it as an external hard drive with enclosure to carry around your files. The speed is also not the best, so you need like a 7200 rpm to use in a laptop for good performance. This is really for just backing up and moving a few files.##########################################################
