I've been riding off road for 50+ years. Tried and gave up on many other brands due to the Overhype but no real results The Maxxis DHF & DHR are the Real Deal. If you lack confidence in your riding style, Maxxis will raise your confidence level by quite a bit. DHF just cling to the terrain, roll pretty fast IMHO, corner well.

This is my third set of Maxxis tires and I've never been disappointed! The mountain bike trails here in Prescott, AZ can be rather demanding for tires. These can handle it!

Not the lightest tire by any means but was willing to sacrifice for better traction. Rolls surprisingly better than I anticipated. Skips a tad on ascents, but then quickly bites and turns into a tank tread. Felt much more confident on my Colorado hard clay trails. Especially hard, fast corners. My previous nobby nics would give much easier on the same turns. Id highly recommend maxxis dhf up front and dhr out back. Well worth the price paid.

These large volume tires really help to smooth out the small “chatter” caused by smaller bumps and rocks and roots.
