    Very good value

    I was a little concerned when I first received the unit. Packaging was very good. Once I was able to install in a temporary case and setup, everything went well. I also have 3 other ASUS PCs, one of which is a Rampage IV with 6 core CPU. I installed Win 7 to be able to install the Win 7 drivers, but have now have upgraded to Win 8.1.

    Solidly Detailed and Truly Professional Review for the Rampage III Extreme!

    I will try to make this review as exhaustive as possible to highlight the benefits and the downfalls of using it,the good and the bad features at the same time. My personal advice for a potential buyer:Only the Extreme need to apply,you will also need serious knowledge about CPU overclocking and Asus Bioses in particular! It is definitely not for the general PC user with average skills at handling computers! But this is an incredibly niche market,as there are very few of us who really need these sorts of extreme overclocking capabilities.This isn't a mass-market board,this is a board to put into high-end, prebuilt,pre-overclocked systems worth thousands.If you want the X58 overclockers's board,the Rampage III Extreme is where it's at,in the top five for sure!     The best motherboard for outdated socket 1366 cpus

    This motherboard is one of the best for Intel socket 1366 cpus. It overclocks very well. Since socket 1366 cpus themselves are already somewhat dated, the value of this board depends on what you want from your computer. The board has two USB version 3.0. Therefore you can entertain a high speed connection with your USB devices. However, the PCI-E lanes are version 2.0. You can run two video cards in SLI/CF at 16x PCI-E (ver 2.0) speed. But if you want to run three cards in SLI/CF, the speed of PCI-E lanes will be 16/8/8 (ver 2.0). The current video cards including Nvidia Titan will be fine at two 16x PCI-E (ver 2.0). However, if you would like to go more than two gpus in SLI/CF, you want PCI-E (version 3.0). At this moment I would recommend this board if you upgrade your motherboard for ...

    Excellent product

    I purchased the product perchée this motherboard has always been one of my favorites. As you can see the motherboard has a very unique design with the colors red and black, in addition there is a lucettina pc off that turns on and off like a heart. The response times of the data regardless of pocessore that you use are very fast, in addition you have 4 Slots for video cards pci-e 1, and 1 pci. Also fits of the power connectors for video cards give maximum stability to that mounted. Too bad this board is now out of production. I suggest buying the motherboard because if I find a used one to buy again in order to have a change.
