When I cut in to the envelope, the packaging was so tight it caused the tie to be right up against the edge and I sliced into it with the scissors. Otherwise the tie was exactly as advertised and in new condition. It arrived on time. Shipping costs are too high for a single item like this - but that is not the seller's fault. Overall a positive experience. I have some thread and can mend the tie-no one will see it under a sweater.
