Wonderful series for the young at heart. Lots of humor, action, horror, soap opera, and very nicely performed and produced.
This is such a wonderfully rich fantasy series. this particular set was a good buy, cleverly packaged in the form of an old book, with lots of illustrations from the shows, like in the Grimm books. It was a little less than others complete Grimm series on Amazon and is in perfect condition. But the trade-off is that it has several features that are just plain annoying. You can access the subtitles, but it is by default designed to "Play All" of the episodes on any particular disc. You can access individual episodes, but they are not labeled...only indicated by pictures. The Play All feature will allow you to pause, but not for long, and it will start up again and run to the end if you don't back up. Then about 50/50 if you are able to run it back to where you left off. You ... The Deleted Scenes are available, but unlike some other packaging, they are only at the end of the disc, for all the episodes on that disc, not like other packagings where you can access them at the end of an episode as well as at the end of a disc. This is such a fun series for me, that I am considering ordering a different packaging like that found in libraries. The difference is about $20, but I think it is worth it. Others might not be so particular.

The package design is a good idea but poorly executed. The "sleeves" are too tight. The discs get scratched during the removal and replacement of DVDs. The confinement and size of the sleeves makes it tough to see what DVD in the series you are on. I put a paper in the empty slot of the disc I am currently on. This is good if you want it to sit on the shelf and look pretty. I recommend purchasing the plastic case version.The package design is a good idea but poorly executed. The "sleeves" are too tight. Awesome product and super TV series!
The box set was delivered quickly and very securely packaged. Opening the plain white box revealed the awesome Grimm custom set packaging. Apparently we missed some of the first season of this great television series, so were even more pleased with the set. My wife always complains about the widescreen format usually found on DVDs, the FULL SCREEN format on this Grimm set was a bonus surprise. Too bad the series was discontinued for television, since it was one of the few shows we really enjoyed. Buy the set, you will love it!The box set was delivered quickly and very securely packaged. Grimm is a pretty great series with amazing characters.
I love the lay out of the boxset to where it looks like an actual Grimm book. It has great artwork and facts about some of the creatures you see in the series. My only problem with it, is there is not a episode run down per disc, or names of each episode in the boxset. It makes it a little tricky to keep track of where you're at if you go a few days without watching. Other than that? The show is fun and entertaining though it is similar to Supernatural. It is great to get the whole series in one set. The packaging is fun to read and look through but it isn't well made and fell apart easily. I just put the discs in other holders. It was a great value and helps fill in the show hole we are in
