This plant was sent as a bare-root small specimen. It was already drying out and the seller should know that this delicate species will never flourish when shipped uprooted.

Sorry you were not satisfied with your purchase! We ships all large plants out bare root because the bulk of the weight is in the soil. We time all shipments with plants on hand that we have forced into hibernation to survive shipment. The coating that we use on the roots ensures survival but only if planted in soil and not setting on a table for over a week since delivery.
