I'm an action movie fan and not into movies that require a lot of thought. This is just a good popcorn movie for people who just want to be entertained with typical Arnold Swartzeneger good guys win bad guys lose action.

One of my all time favorite action films
The Running Man - Definitely one of my all-time favs Maybe not the best movie ever made, but one of the best concepts for a movie ever, and I mean ever. Arnie is awesome and the super-villains he must dispose of are intimidating. The action scenes are great and the acting is decent enough, but the story is just so awesome that you can't go wrong. The Running Man is extremely well made for an 80's action movie, and will always have a place on my DVD shelf. Final Verdict: 4/5 Rent or Buy?: Buy this movie now, seriously... Run! Fun 80's Movie
This has always been a favorite Arnold movie for me. It is not his best, but it moves fast and has tons of fun 80s action in it. The only problem is that this particular DVD has a lousy transfer. The DVD is not even anamorphic and the audio is not Dolby Digital. For those who criticized this film for not being as good as the Richard Bachman novel, you are missing the point. The Bachman novel is just a concept used for the film: the real substance is the wide array of crazy characters, from Richard Dawson as the sleazy game show host to Jim Brown as the stalker Fireball.
