Devotions for dating couples
I haven't read through the whole book yet, but even the parts I have read through have been so amazingly helpful. Its important that any relationship, whether it be with a friend family member or loved one, is centered around a relationship with God. This book really brings out and stresses the importance of how important it is to have a relationship with God. Very good, and easy reading so far. This was a great book, and a really neat way for my long-distance relationship to keep things grounded. I am still reading through it, and I'm enjoying the format (one topic per week) and the fact that it doesn't focus very much on the DATING relationship, but on your personal relationship with God. It's a good choice, especially for someone in a serious relationship looking for their first devotional book to do together.This was a great book, and a really neat way for my long-distance relationship to keep things grounded. I am still reading through it, and I'm enjoying the format (one topic per week) and the fact that it doesn't focus very much on the DATING relationship, but on your personal relationship with God. This book has a variety of topics for dating couples. However the contents is more suitable for couples in their early 20's. I felt certain topics should have been written with more biblical insight.

A great devotional book!
I really like this book! It is designed to be used daily for nine weeks, with a different focus each week. The book discusses some of the core issues of Christianity without getting into any doctrinal debates. My girlfriend and I used a system where one of us read the day's devotional and then sometime during the day gave it to the other so they could read it that evening, and then keep it to read in the morning so we could continue the system throughout the week. Not only were we gaining information about spirituality, but we developed a habit of setting aside time to spend with God. This habit is still there even when the book is finished. Got the book in a timely manner, but I was disappointed to see that there are a lot of notes from the previous owner all over the pages. If I was aware of this, I wouldn't have purchased it.
