    One of His Best

    No doubt about it. Nicholas Sparks is a good storyteller. From the first page, I want to be left alone to read undisturbed. The story moves along from scene to scene in a smooth fashion. "What does it mean to truly love another?" The answer is found in this a love story about a man's life, but this is not an expected romance between a man and a woman. It's easy to see that Savannah and John are meant for each other; however, love goes beyond romance. The relationship between John and his father is also closely examined. The friendship of John and Tony, his army buddy, is believable. The story takes place in North Carolina and spans several years, including the 9/11 attack. Autism and Asperger's conditions are written about with great care, giving me a bit of an education. The pain of old ...

    Dear John

    After seeing previews for the movie I decided to buy the book & read it first. The book is a true testament to love. It is a wonderful read that takes you through every emotion...from true bliss to heartbreak...When I finished this book I was reminded that true love is loving someone enough to put their happiness above your own. I have recommended it to all my friends. By the way... not wise to read the book then watch the movie! It so does not live up to the book!

    Great Shape, and fast shipping!

    The book is amazing, the story leaves you coming back for more. John is a good example of a hardworking soldier from the United States. His freewill to change and serve is the heart of a soldier. Nicholas Sparks leaves his characters forever changed through love, loss, and the power to serve one another.

    I really enjoyed this book. I couldn't put it down. Nicholas Sparks is a great author and now I can't wait to see the movie.

    dear john

    I bought the book by Nicholas Sparks Dear John last when I started to read the book I couldn't put it down. I read the entire book in 3 days. Dear John was a terrific book. A real tearjerker . I totally fell in love with the story , the characters , everything . I am now counting down the days so i can see the movie.
