    Great Unix book

    I bought this book in order for me to learn Unix in a very fast paced manner. So far so good. I don't think I can read and understand the book in 24 hours though. Right this moment, I'm on hour 4. So far, I'm trying to understand hour-4 for about 2 hours already. This is really a great book. The only thing that I don't like about this book is it's kinda old, which I was aware of when I bought it. Some unix commands are not working on the modern linux distro that I'm using. But then again, there is always google.

    Great UNIX learning tool

    This book was recommended by a co-worker who said they used the same book to get started in UNIX. He is now a senior developer and said he may not have leaned it without this book. He now has a desk reference to refer to anything, but for a learner like me this is the book for me as it goes through everything step by step and gradually increases the difficulty level for easy reading and learning. IT has been a great asset so far and I recommend to anyone just starting out. Thanks!
