I bought the Phillips GoGear SA302 (used) on ebay. I sought a small mp3 player which could also display my photos. I wanted it to be rechargeable and do voice recording too. This unit meets these needs and surpasses my expectations. The GoGear is compact and feels quite solid. The controls are well located and easy to use. The display is bright and clear so it's easy to navigate. Though the screen is not too large, photos and video recordings are well rendered. You can play audio files while viewing a slide show of your photos too. The built in microphone makes recording lectures and notes a snap. Battery life has been excellent recording / playing audio. Using the back-light a lot (photo / video viewing) still yields a couple hours. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge from a usb ... I bought the Phillips GoGear SA302 (used) on ebay. This model has no FM radio function but otherwise has a good set of useful features. Mine came with a rubber case / cover (for use with an armband) which gives it some added protection. The screen is a fingerprint magnet of course. Wipes right off with a soft damp cloth. All in all, a fine quality unit. I recommend this unit to those seeking a compact personal mp3 / mp4 / video player and photo viewer. Voice recording is a useful bonus. You might want to add a screen protector film or hard case to help avoid scratching. ***DrLightman***

This is a very good quality product with durable buttons and controls. I really like the GoGear I purchased it is very easy to use and to load music onto. It does not have the software glitches that I have ran into with other media players. Top notch product.

Amazing mp3 player
I have owned around a dozen mp3 players from my first Sansa 30 gig for 500.00 when they first came out, to a 5 dollar no display pos. This is one amazing little mp3 player, and I do mean little. It is not just a mp3 player, it records, plays movies very well, and I am a tattoo artist so I can keep my portfolio on me at all times due to the pictures ability. I really do not understand paying 200 for an ipod nano, when the new GoGear is identical for 40.00 not as many gigs but still.I have owned around a dozen mp3 players from my first Sansa 30 gig for 500.00 when they first came out, to a 5 dollar no display pos.
