The carnival comes to PC in Thrillville: Off the Rails, part park management sim and part adventure game. Build an assortment of themed roller coasters, racetracks, and offbeat rides while attempting to impress the crowds and turn a profit along the way. Unlike similar business-oriented titles, however, Thrillville's focus isn't on micromanaging a multitude of resources. You instead explore the 3D animated park from a third-person perspective set behind a male or female character. Characters are encouraged to converse with visitors, participate in mini-games, and even ride the coasters for a firsthand account of each twist, tumble, and turn.<br><br>Off the Rails also includes a wide variety of customization options. Concession stands can be built around the park, ticket prices adjusted, staff hired, and more. Choose from several pre-designed rides or build your own by mixing and matching parts. Rides can be further tweaked with animatronics, new paint schemes, flaming hoops, additional cars, and so forth. Each area features missions to complete, from talking to specific patrons to earning a monthly profit on a particular attraction. Fans of the original Thrillville will explore 15 new areas and compete in a total of 34 arcade-style mini-games, from robot boxing to tank shooting.

Fun game and games
Fun game and games inside the main game as well.... only thing is it wont install a shortcut on the desktop to it...you have to do that manually but no big deal if you know how to do it... recommended coaster game.

Thrillville - missed the thrills
There seems to be many great reviews about this game but from my household it just doesn't hold as high of a mark. I purchased this game for my young teen ager who did want it. She had played the other roller coaster games as she grew and thought this would be the next progression. Well, while there appears to be a game there, it does not have the theme park feel of the tycoon series at all. If you are looking for a good game that is cheap, this one might do as long as you don't expect to be getting thrills straight out of the box. In the end, it was just put aside for other games or things to do. One of my other daughters got it for the Wii and after seeing how it worked on the computer we took the Wii version back. If you want a good theme park related sim try Roller Coaster ... There seems to be many great reviews about this game but from my household it just doesn't hold as high of a mark. Thillville is an excellent choice
I have loved Rollar Coaster Tycoon and have all 3 games. Still love it just as much as I did before but now I am enjoying Thrillville. It is very interactive and tons of fun. If you are a fan of rct you will really enjoy this game as well. They are totally different with some of the same concepts. You need to make sure that your computer has everything it needs to run this program, if not, stick with xbox, psp, or wii version.I have loved Rollar Coaster Tycoon and have all 3 games. Then this is the game for you! This game is very fun, but kind of repetitive. Very fun and great for kids of 12 or older.
