    This book provides very accurate information regarding the cause and impact of past natural disasters, and presents the material in a way that makes it very easy to understand.

    Interesting review of geology

    Bought this book for a "Natural Hazards and Disasters" class in college. The book is a really good mix of case studies and political information and the actual science behind it. You will learn a lot about the social implications, historical data as well as the hows and whys of the events.
