    Lucky Find

    Now discontinued, the WS-110 has worked well for me over the years. The battery leaked in its compartment though and I needed a new one (compartment) but Olympus no longer offers those parts. This product was a good value for the price and restored my old recorder to use.

    Great little recorder

    Purchased this recorder for my wife; she wanted to keep memories of our son's first sounds, laughs, and words as he grew. Recorder works great. Love that it has a built in USB connection and it upload perfectly using Windows Vista. Battery life seems good so far and it is very easy to use. Really can't think of any "cons" to the recorder. Storage size is only limiting factor but there are models with larger capacity. Overall, great product!

    Replacement

    I just bought a used replacement for the new recorder I bought a year ago. The cap that holds the battery in place got cracked while in my computer bag and the battery would not stay in place. I basically "parted out" my new recorder with the used one I just bought; I just moved the memory stick from the new one to the replacement recorder. I use the recorder for note taking and for playing 1 hour 30 minute background sounds during presentations. I connect the recorder with a pair of small computer speakers when playing for audiences. Features that I like: - Very small - Easy to operate once set up - USB connectivity allows me to create sound tracks on my computer and transfer them - Speaker connectivity Features I don't like: - Not intuitive for setup - once I got it set up I don't ...

    Prompt-True to Description

    I was pleased to received the recorder much quicker than I had initially expected. Initially, the recording device was not making contact with the battery but after a few tries it started right up. I am familiar with the model so I tested it and found it to be in great working condition. Thank you!!

    Amazing digital recorder!

    This is such an improvement over tape recorders! It records very clearly in both a transcription mode and in recording speakers from a distance. Very clear recordings that are in WMA mode that is so incredibly easy to move or play on the computer. Very compact; smaller than most cell phones. Very easy to find recordings on player in 5 distinct files. Olympus has outdone itself!
