This surpassed my expectations. I recently purchased a copy listed to be similar to this from Amazon and what I received was a standard edition wrapped in clear plastic with special edition on it. No steel book no anything. I was pissed especially considering that I paid $98 dollars and didn't get what I paid for. Came to ebay and saw various copies for sale and bought this one. Colourful fun, that will bring out the kid in you.
I bought this for my wife, with the intention of her playing it. However, as it is a two player game, I had a go, and we found ourselves playing it for hours. The game isn't very difficult, and can be a little repetitive, but, as there are so many in game collectables, it has replay value which adds to it's appeal. The graphics are colourful and fun, and are what is to be expected for depicting lego figurines. Overall it's not the best game you will every play, and does suffer from glitching and crashing once in a while. That said, I have thoroughly enjoyed playing two player mode along with my wife, and would recommend it for others. It is more aimed at younger gamers, but I still had fun playing it.I bought this for my wife, with the intention of her playing it. Fans of the books or movies will love the Lego "take" on Harry Potter
This is, by far, my favorite of the Lego games. There are so many little "extras" found in this one that you'll never get tired of playing. The battle "bosses" are not difficult to beat, however and that may prove disappointing to some gamers. I play for the experience, more than the challenge. Creative, fun, clever and incredibly cute.
